I do recommend this venue and will choose it for sure for next trip. Parking was nearby. Free Wi Fi was working perfectly.

The young lady on reception spoke English and was most helpful. We basically flew in to Frankfurt and used it as an overnight stay before heading off to Boppard. The hotel was walkable to the train station and old part of the town which was well worth the visit. The room was quiet on the night,
Room and bathroom very small

Room very basic - lacked a safe, fridge and air conditioning provided by a fan. Radiator in bathroom (photo taken) was in poor state with rust marks over the surface.

Staff were very nice. Desk clerk when we checked in was very helpful. Chose this hotel for location & by comparison to reviews for other nearby hotels; it was about what we expected. Not the Ritz, but adequate for an overnight stay. Pricey for the quality, but everything in Mainz looked the same way, so it is not that they're not competitive. They only charged 5 Euro for parking, not the 9 that the Booked.net website says.
The woman covering the breakfast room was brusque, but understandably so because they had her doing everything for the entire room by herself, and she always seemed to be rushing to the next task. Room was small, but manageable. Small scattered black spots (mold?) in shower. Having to go to the reception desk to get a uname/password for the overpriced wi-fi access, rather than being able to pay online. (Decided it wasn't worth it just to check email for one day on the weekend, so they 'lost" money, there).
